Photos from across NSW show the rising floodwaters of the Shoalhaven River on the NSW south coast, snowfall in Orange and the Blue Mountains and huge surf swells off Sydney’s coastline.
Shoalhaven Zoo posted these photos of their flooded zoo and assured their followers the animals remained safe and well looked after:
”It’s no Sunday Fun Day today! With heavy rainfalls and flooding in the Shoalhaven we are facing yet another challenge for 2020. All the animals are safe and quite a few are not minding this rain at all! Big shout out to the zookeepers working in these conditions ensuring all the animals are safe and looked after.”

A shed was also seen floating down the Shoalhaven river after a night of heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile a low-pressure system brought snow to Orange and the Blue Mountains over the weekend.
